Our God-given mission as a church is founded in Jesus’ commission to His disciples and the local church. It focuses our effort and gives clarity to everything we do in reaching the world around us with the love of Christ.

We are constantly seeking the leading of the Holy Spirit, and wisdom of God’s word in what we should be doing across the breadth of ministries at Gateway Church, and expectantly await all that God wants to do in and through us in the future.

Is in strategic partnership and relationship with local leaders and organisations to better the city of Warrnambool and the southwest region.

Worships together with power and boldness led by the Holy Spirit.

Is filled with people who care enough to share the good news of Jesus Christ over fences with neighbours and around tables with strangers.

Is brave enough to hold a mirror up to itself and change where necessary.

Is home to the broken and lost, with an open door and a friendly welcome.

Is generous and strategic in its support of local and overseas mission.

Is a light on a hill beckoning people to come home.
