International Needs is bringing hope, dignity and
new life to vulnerable and
Trokosi-impacted women in
Ghana through a vocational
Modular Training Program.
Mercy Senahe, a released
Trokosi slave and Faustina
Boama-Yorke Principal of an International Needs school in
Ghana will be at Gateway:
Sunday 5th September at 10.30am.
Discover how this vital rehabilitation is transforming the lives of
vulnerable women and former slaves. Many have spent most of their
lives from the age of about five in servitude to the aging priests in
their village temples.
The International Needs training program in conjunction with the
Australian Government through AusAid is preparing these women
for self-sufficient and productive lives back in their communities.
It provides them with counselling, accommodation, training,
healthcare and continuing support.
